We are local residents, native to the area, and have worked in and interacted with the DC metro area healthcare systems all our lives. LD RN 12 hour nights, EOW, EOH. BSN REQ. Must have 2+ yrs of L&D EXP preferably at hospitals with at least 2000 or more deliveries/yr with previous travel- Must be able to circulate on c sections- EPIC EXP REQ. Large volume obstetrical hospital w/8,500 deliveries in 2013; 22 LDR's, 9 triage bays, 4 c section OR's. NRP REQ, ACLS REQ. Nursery nurse is NOT present at the delivery unless it is high risk or a scheduled c-section. LD nurse needs to know how to do the initial assessment on the baby. Travelers must pass EKG Test and Fetal Monitoring test.
